Job summary

Carrington West invites an experienced Senior Town Planner to join a well-established independent planning consultancy in Newcastle. The role offers hybrid working with three days in the office and the opportunity to work on diverse residential, town centre, commercial, retail and leisure projects across Newcastle and beyond.

Qualifications

Chartered MRTPI status is essential.
Experience in a planning consultancy or relevant planning environment is required.
Strong knowledge of the UK planning system and ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.

Responsibilities

Managing a varied portfolio of planning projects across multiple sectors.
Preparing and submitting planning applications and supporting documents.
Providing strategic planning advice to clients.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Liaising with local authorities, consultants and stakeholders.
