Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a Senior or Principal Town Planner to join our established Camberley team. You will work on high-profile projects across England and Wales, delivering strategic planning, development management and client advisory services.

The role requires a minimum of five years’ planning experience and MRTPI qualification, with strong knowledge of the UK planning system. We offer a supportive, collaborative environment with hybrid working, CPD opportunities, and career progression

Qualifications

• MRTPI qualification
• 5+ years' professional planning experience
• Strong knowledge of the UK planning system and development process
• Commercial mindset with pragmatic planning advice
• Excellent analytical, report-writing and communication skills
• Confidence in managing planning projects and engaging with clients and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide range of planning projects including strategic planning and development management
• Coordinate planning applications and appeals
• Advise clients on complex and prestigious development schemes
• Manage projects from inception through to completion
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to business development
