Job summary

Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust in London is recruiting a Band 7 Tissue Viability Specialist Nurse to join the Brent Integrated Care Team, based at Wembley Park. You will provide expert assessment and intervention for patients with complex wounds, focusing on prevention, healing and patient-centred outcomes.

You will lead and line-manage staff, deliver training, and contribute to service development through evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Masters level or equivalent with postgrad coursework.
• Registered Nurse with tissue viability focus.
• Post-registration wound management or leg ulcer training.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical leadership, assessment and treatment for patients with highly complex wounds, ensuring high standards of evidence-based, patient-centred care
• Line manage and support staff, including supervision, performance management, education and professional development
• Lead and deliver training and education across the Tissue Viability service and wider workforce, designing formal training materials and supporting clinical competence
• Contribute to service development through research, innovation and the application of evidence-based practice, including equipment evaluation, pathways, SOPs and policies
• Support effective resource and budget management and participate in audits to drive continuous service improvement
• Act as a visible clinical leader and role model within the multidisciplinary team
