Job summary

Audley Travel is seeking a Senior Ticketer to join our UK travel team. You will issue published and negotiated fares using GDS, ensure fare rule compliance and booking accuracy, and manage ticketing queries in a fast-paced environment.

You will own airline ticketing operations, handle reissues, refunds and upgrades, and collaborate with sales and stakeholders to deliver cost savings and exceptional service. Hybrid work in the UK is available.

Qualifications

• Experience in airline ticketing with GDS.
• Travel industry experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
• Well organised with a proactive mindset.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Issue tickets accurately using GDS and ensure fare rules compliance.

Role Highlights

• Expert Ticketing Accurately issue published and negotiated fares using GDS, ensuring compliance with fare rules and booking accuracy.
• Operational Ownership Manage airline queues and ticketing helpdesk, handling reissues, refunds, upgrades, and queries within SLA timeframes
• Drive Efficiency & Savings Identify opportunities to reduce costs, minimise penalties, and improve ticketing processes.
• Team Support & Leadership Provide guidance to colleagues, check work quality, and support training of new starters.
• Cross-Team Collaboration Work closely with sales teams and stakeholders across the business, communicating clearly and effectively.

Salary of £27,000 to £31,000
