Job summary

Schools Broadband, a division of Talk Straight Ltd, is looking for a skilled Third Line Support Engineer to join their support team. The role involves monitoring network infrastructure, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring high service quality in a rapidly growing environment.

As part of a hybrid working model, engineers will be required to attend the Ilkley office three days a week while providing critical support to a diverse range of clients in the educational sector.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar third line or NOC engineer role.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, MPLS, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and VPNs.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and resolve outages.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues.
• Manage incident resolution and provide post-incident reporting.
