Job summary

The Harley Street Clinic in London is seeking a Senior Theatre Scrub Practitioner to join our high-specification theatre team. You will deliver safe perioperative care across a range of complex procedures, working with Consultants and multi-disciplinary teams in a technology-enabled environment.

We value experienced scrub practitioners with the ability to mentor juniors, participate in on-call rotas, and uphold our outstanding care standards across Monday–Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

• Current NMC or HCPC registration.
• Significant scrub experience in an acute theatre.
• Experience across diverse surgical specialties including cardiac, neuro, thoracic, vascular, spine, plastics, breast, ENT, GI and maxillofacial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consistently high standard of patient care using evidence-based perioperative practice.
• Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate perioperative care with patient-centred focus.
• Prepare instruments, equipment and consumables per patient and Consultant requirements.
• Check theatre equipment prior to use and escalate faults to maintain safety.
• Act as a senior theatre team member, mentoring juniors and supporting collaboration.
