Job summary

Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Specialist Theatre Practitioner. The role involves working across anaesthetics, scrub and recovery to support perioperative care, with leadership duties and a focus on patient safety and clinical governance.

You will join a multidisciplinary theatre team in a 7-day operation, with flexible shifts and opportunities for night work. NHS Band 6 salary and ongoing development are offered.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration or Registration with HCPC.
• Degree in Nursing Studies or Operating Department Practice.

Responsibilities

• Rotate across anaesthetics, scrub and recovery per service needs and competencies.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centred perioperative care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, surgeons, anaesthetists and theatre team; document promptly.
