Job summary
de Le Cuona in Windsor seeks a Senior Textile Designer to own the fabrics side of our woven collections. You will shape entire development from concept to launch, working closely with mills and artisans, and bring your ideas to life in our luxury studio.
You will lead fabric development in a small, collaborative team, using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and CAD to create distinctive woven textiles. This role offers real ownership, a clear career path, and opportunities to collaborate on bespoke
Qualifications
- Woven textile design across fabrics, including structure, yarns and finishes.
- Fabric development and furnishing fabrics with collection development.
- Experience collaborating with mills and artisans; knowledge of natural fibres.
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and CAD for design work.
Responsibilities
- Own fabric development from concept to sampling, production and launch.
- Design original woven fabrics exploring weave structures, yarns, colour and texture.
- Provide clear creative and technical direction to mills and artisans.
- Manage timelines, sampling, specifications, and studio documentation.
- Collaborate with Marketing on launches, photoshoots and projects.
- Present concepts using Photoshop, Illustrator and CAD.
- Travel in UK and internationally as needed.
