de Le Cuona, a renowned luxury textiles studio, seeks a Senior Textile Designer to own fabric development from concept through sampling, production and launch. You will drive weave exploration, collaborate with mills and artisans, and push the de Le Cuona aesthetic across collections.

You will join a small team in Windsor, working closely with the Design Manager and contributing to multiple launches yearly, including bespoke collaborations with other luxury brands.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a textile design role within a UK design studio.
• Hands-on woven design experience essential.
• Strong understanding of weave structures, yarns and fabric composition.
• Experience taking fabrics from concept to launch with mills or manufacturers.
• Advanced Photoshop and Illustrator skills.
• Portfolio shows original woven work and launches.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to juggle multiple projects.
• Willingness to travel in the UK and internationally; right to work in the UK.

Responsabilités

• Design original woven fabrics exploring structure, yarns, colour and finishes.
• Own fabric development projects from concept to sampling, production and launch.
• Provide clear creative and technical direction to mills and artisans.
• Manage timelines, sampling, specifications, deliveries and studio documentation.
• Research trends and innovations from trade shows and archives.
• Collaborate with Marketing on launches and photoshoots.
• Bring energy to the studio and support the Design Manager.
• Lead supplier meetings and presentations when needed.
