Job summary

Leonardo UK is seeking a Senior Test Solutions Engineer to join the Test Solutions team in Luton, delivering world-class test solutions and system designs for multiple projects. The role blends systems and hardware engineering with an opportunity to progress within a cross-functional environment.

You will develop requirements, MATLAB modelling, RF design analysis, and support tests across the full lifecycle, in a hybrid arrangement with travel within the UK and Europe.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing and developing complex test solutions across full lifecycle.
• Good understanding of the Systems engineering lifecycle.
• Experience with external suppliers and outsourcing complex work packages.
• Experience of NI LabVIEW and TestStand.
• Knowledge of airborne EW Systems.
• Exposure to DOORS and PDM tools.
• Ability to engage with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage time across multiple activities.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver test solutions for RF, digital and analogue systems.
• Create and capture test requirements for production equipment and main systems.
• Contribute to RF and system design, test and integration activities.
• Review design integrity prior to formal design reviews.
• Work across the full engineering lifecycle.
• Engage with suppliers and external partners.
• Produce concise technical reports to support key decisions.
• Support IPT decision making and knowledge sharing.
