Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd in Luton is seeking a Test Development Engineer to join the Test Solutions team, focusing on complex electronic test solutions across RF, digital and analogue domains.

You will contribute to design and problem solving, support requirements capture, control of parts and documentation, and develop hardware/software test solutions using LabVIEW and TestStand.

Travel within the UK and Europe may be required; the role is permanent with hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Degree required (or equivalent).
• Experience working with external suppliers.
• Strong communication with stakeholders.
• Teamworking skills in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and problem solve to develop test solutions.
• Support requirements capture for Test Equipment Requirement Specifications (TERS).
• Control of parts and documentation including change management.
• Ensure life-cycle design reviews are implemented effectively.
• Develop hardware/software test solutions from requirements to testing.
• Develop software using LabVIEW and TestStand.
