Job summary

DXC Technology seeks a Test Manager to lead IT test delivery onsite in Hampshire. Role focuses on functional, performance, security, and non-functional testing, delivering strategies for projects of churn to medium complexity, and collaborating with Test Consultants on larger initiatives.

The ideal candidate will guide test activities, influence early design decisions, and maintain alignment with architects and suppliers in a fast-paced delivery environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT Test delivery including functional, performance, security and other non-functional testing.
• Define and create Project Test Strategies where projects are churn or simple to medium complexity.
• Where projects sit outside of this rating may be required to work alongside assigned Test Consultant to support the creation of testing solutions and test strategies, and other test deliverables for programmes or large projects.
• Influences at the start of projects, and during testing lifecycle delivery, on requirement ideas/concepts, challenging and asking specific questions, giving testing industry insight.
• Supports the shifts left focus into design and development so that testing influences and drives the outputs and quality from these domains.
• Maintains links with the Consultant group and keeps abreast of strategic developments and delivery progress.
• Senior Resource - acts as SME for testing related activities.
