Aviva plc in the UK is seeking a Senior Test Manager to shape how teams deliver quality across multiple projects and platforms. You’ll lead testing strategies, drive automation initiatives, and partner with stakeholders to embed best practices that improve efficiency and outcomes for customers.
You will work in a hybrid model across Norwich and other UK locations, guiding teams through both waterfall and agile delivery while inspiring a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality releases.
This is a great job for someone who thrives on shaping how teams deliver quality, enjoys influencing ways of working, and is energised by driving meaningful change. Are you someone who loves solving complex problems, guiding others, and exploring innovative ways to improve testing across a business? This role could suit someone experienced in Quality Engineering or Test Management who is ready for a step up, or someone who brings strong test automation expertise and is excited to make an impact across multiple projects and platforms.
As a Senior Test Manager in our GI Quality Engineering team, you’ll play a key role in delivering critical projects while driving forward our wider transformation and innovation work. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across Aviva to shape testing approaches, embed best practices, and influence how our teams think about quality. This role exists to ensure our products and systems are rigorously tested, efficient, and continually improving, helping us deliver great outcomes for our customers. You’ll be accountable for test oversight, strategic input at platform level, and championing modern automation practices.

We flex locations, hours and working patterns to suit our customers, business, and you. Most of our people are smart working – spending around 50% of their time in our offices every week - combining the benefits of flexibility, with time together with colleagues.
