Job summary

MBDA Missile System is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join the Manufacturing team. You will support test strategy and implementation for concepts and early prototypes, ensuring production-readiness and adherence to time, cost and quality targets.

The role covers design-to-production transitions, test facility setup, fixture design, and test instruction generation. A strong electronics background and experience with SAP/MES is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum HNC level or equivalent in a relevant subject, HND/Degree preferred.
• Experience with digital and analogue electronics manufacture and test.
• Familiar with test equipment and measurement principles; fault diagnosis techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide Test Engineering support across design, development and production readiness phases.
• Assist in establishing test specifications and operator instructions.
• Support testing of electrical/electronic sub-assemblies and circuit cards with diagnosis down to component level.
• Collaborate with Operations, design teams and stakeholders to overcome technical challenges.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and governance of Test Engineering activities.
• Develop and maintain test process flows and fixtures for new products.
