Job summary

The Money and Pensions Service is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to own the automated testing process, build and maintain the framework, and support Delivery with automated testing for Scrum teams. You will mentor others in testing practices, particularly around Playwright, and ensure quality is embedded across development workstreams.

You will collaborate with Product Teams to drive reliable test coverage, contribute to governance of testing standards, and advocate QA best practices throughout

• Identify and raise risks from automation results.
• Own and maintain the automation framework and standards.

• Deliver automated test sets for the wider pack.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies and improve quality through metrics.
• Act as escalation point for Test Engineers on technical issues.
