Job summary

Randstad Technologies Recruitment is seeking a Senior Test Engineer for a long-term on-site assignment in Bristol. In this role you will own monthly In-Service Release cycles, ensuring new features meet functional and security standards while coordinating with delivery teams.

You will plan and execute functional and risk-based tests, manage defects in Jira/Zephyr/TestRail, and produce release evidence Packs for customer sign-off. Active UK SC clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Active UK SC Clearance required.
• 5+ years of software testing experience in enterprise/defence IT.
• Deep expertise in manual functional testing, regression testing and defect management.
• Experience with test management tools Jira/Zephyr/Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Develop monthly release test plans with defined scope and acceptance criteria.
• Execute functional and risk-based regression testing.
• Manage defects using Jira, Zephyr, or TestRail and run defect-triage meetings.
• Produce robust release test summaries and evidence packs for customer sign-off.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive functional test cases.
