Job summary

Join QinetiQ as a Senior Systems Engineer at our Bristol site (or any major UK location). You will work across defence testing, evaluation and mission rehearsal, defining requirements, developing architectures and supporting integration and delivery of complex systems.

The role offers hands-on engineering across multiple technologies with significant growth opportunities, requiring SC clearance eligibility and a minimum three days on-site per week.

Qualifications

• Experience working within systems engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle and governance processes.
• Experience contributing to the delivery of engineering projects from concept through to implementation.
• Knowledge of systems integration involving hardware, software, communications or infrastructure.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements and architectures for complex systems.
• Support integration and verification activities across the lifecycle.
• Contribute to successful delivery into service.
• Collaborate with project managers, customers and engineers across disciplines.
