Job summary

Randstad Technologies in Bristol, UK is seeking a Senior Test Engineer for a long-term, onsite contract to own monthly ISR cycles and ensure features meet functional and security requirements.

You'll develop test plans, execute functional and regression testing, manage defects in Jira/Zephyr/TestRail, and prepare release evidence for customer sign-off, with opportunities to automate repetitive tests.

The role requires active UK Security Clearance and 5+ years in enterprise or defence IT testing.

Qualifications

• Active UK SC Clearance is required.
• 5+ years of software testing experience in enterprise or defence IT environments.
• Strong experience with manual and regression testing.
• Experience with defect management tools and release processes.

Responsibilities

Senior Test Engineer (Active SC Clearance Required)

Location: Bristol, UK (100% Onsite)

Contract Duration: ASAP until June 2027

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Engineer for a long-term contract supporting a major IT Programme. In this fully onsite role based in Bristol, you will take operational ownership of monthly In-Service Release (ISR) cycles, ensuring all new features and updates meet strict functional and security requirements.

What You'll Do:
