Scale Factory, an AI enablement consultancy, is seeking a Senior Software Developer in Test to design and implement modern automation frameworks for varied clients. You will lead small testing teams, shape QA strategies, and ensure solutions meet client business needs.

This hybrid role offers collaboration across industries, coaching opportunities, and a pathway to influence testing best practices while delivering high-quality, scalable foundations.

Qualifications

• Eligibility for SC clearance.
• Significant experience in Agile environments (e.g., SCRUM, Kanban).
• Proven expertise in automation testing with hands‑on experience using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or RestAssured.
• Strong knowledge of integration testing and automation frameworks.
• Experience leading small teams of testers and contributing to the QA strategy.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, K6 or Neoload.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement automation frameworks and testing solutions for clients.
• Lead and mentor small teams of automation testers, providing guidance and technical direction.
• Take ownership of QA strategies and influence testing best practices.
• Play a client-facing role to ensure solutions align with business needs.
