We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless integration and functionality of our client’s complex systems, particularly cloud-based applications, and services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling complex integrations, problem solving, designing user journeys, creating test data, automated test frameworks and working with cloud environments. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills are essential to facilitate effective teamwork and achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning, design, and execution of functional testing to support software and system development, with a strong focus on cloud-based services.
• Input into testing timelines, and communicate testing progress and results effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Undertake audits of third-party suppliers testing to ensure quality and exercise definition of done as SIT quality gate.
• Lead the analysis on complex testing issues , including cross systems issues.
• Develop and maintain detailed integration test plans and scenarios for complex software applications involving multiple systems, including cloud platforms.
• Conduct UI, API and cloud service integration testing to ensure systems interact efficiently and meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to create realistic user journeys and test scenarios, particularly for cloud-based applications.
• Generate and manage test data, and maintain data integrity across multiple environments, including cloud-based platforms.
• Create and implement SIT readiness checklists to ensure consistent test acceptance criteria is implemented across all third parties.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues through to resolution, working closely with cloud service providers and development teams.
• Good knowledge of test automation processes and best practises
• Enhance existing testing processes and incorporate best practices for system integration testing, particularly for cloud services.
• Identify and proactively manage risks and single point of failures in entire SDLC.
• Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to summarize testing activities, including issues found and resolutions proposed, with a focus on cloud integrations.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Extensive experience in functional test analysis and testing, with a proven track record of handling complex integrations, including extensive work with cloud-based services.
• Experience in UI and API testing and creating comprehensive test plans and cases, particularly for cloud services.
• Strong experience in creating detailed user journeys and test data for cloud-based applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other stakeholders.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues clearly and concisely.
• Proficient with test management software and QA methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as ISTQB Advanced Test Manager or similar.
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• AWS Certification
