Job summary

Siemens Hebburn seeks a Senior Tendering Engineer to strengthen the Transmission Proposals team. You will drive the end-to-end tender process, coordinating input from sales, engineering, and procurement to produce robust technical offerings and accurate budgets.

You will lead ITT evaluation, prepare documentation, and manage technical queries while coordinating with legal for terms and conditions. This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and strong communication in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a Tendering or Proposals environment.
• Ability to coordinate input from technical specialists into a bid.
• Experience with complex bids and customer negotiations.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with sales, operations and procurement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess ITT packages with sales and procurement.
• Lead preparation and coordination of proposals from pre-qualification to handover to the contract team (including calculation sheets and scope documents).
• Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Sales and Procurement to ensure customer specs are understood and translated into robust technical offerings and budgets.
• Issue and respond to technical queries throughout the tendering process.
• Prepare, present, and obtain internal approval for tender documentation and pricing in line with tender processes.
• Develop and understand Terms and Conditions, liaising with legal to complete Tender documents.
• Arrange and chair tender reviews and handovers meetings in line with tender processes.
