Job summary

Siemens is seeking a strategic Tender Manager for our Hebburn office, with hybrid working options. You will lead end-to-end tender development for complex electrical infrastructure projects across the UK, briefing cross-functional teams and guiding Bid/No Bid decisions.

The role offers a base salary with a performance bonus and strong pension provisions. You will collaborate with legal and commercial teams, drive innovation in MV switchgear and protection systems, and build lasting relationships

Qualifications

• Significant experience in bid/project/commercial management in an engineering project-based business.
• Extensive experience in Medium Voltage Switch gear and Protection and Automation sectors desirable.
• Strong customer-satisfaction mindset and service focus.
• Curious about technologies and innovations.
• Evidence of working in cross-functional teams and building strong relationships.
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
• Pro-active with ability to manage multiple stakeholders against tight deadlines.

Your Role

• Lead end-to-end tender development for sophisticated electrical infrastructure projects.

What You'll Bring

• Significant experience in bid/project/commercial management role, from an engineering project-based business, in a regulated industry.
• Extensive experience in Medium Voltage Switch gear and Protection and Automation sectors would be desirable
• A drive to achieve strong customer satisfaction with a Service Mindset.
• Curious about technologies.
• Evidence of working in cross-functional teams and ability to develop strong relationships and work cohesively across functions.
• Ability to communicate with people at all levels, technical, non-technical, verbal and written.
