Job summary

Kier Group plc., a leading UK contractor, is seeking a Senior Temporary Works Advisor to join our design team. Based nationwide, you’ll support temporary works compliance, provide design and coordination advice, and contribute to hundreds of projects across the country.

You’ll advise on the Temporary Works Standard, conduct compliance audits, assist tender and feasibility studies, and lead design coordination as required.

Qualifications

• Incorporated member of a relevant professional institution (e.g. IEng or MICE) or significant experience in a similar role.
• Full driving licence.
• Collaborative and able to build effective relationships across teams, clients and stakeholders.
• Trusted, and committed to delivering what you promise while acting safely and ethically.
• Focused with a clear, disciplined and thorough approach to your work.

Responsibilities

• Advising on the effective implementation of the Group Temporary Works Standard and associated guidance
• Providing design management advice and coordination, acting as lead designer where required
• Undertaking formal and informal temporary works compliance audits of projects and frameworks
• Supporting tender and bid winning activities including outline design schemes, feasibility studies, and value engineering
• Providing design management advice and coordination, acting as lead designer where required
