Job summary

Kier Group plc is seeking a Senior Temporary Works Advisor to support our design and construction teams across the UK. You will advise on temporary works standards, provide design and on-site guidance, and conduct compliance audits to ensure safety and compliance across projects.

You will collaborate with clients and stakeholders, lead design coordination where required, and help win tenders through feasible, safe, and value-engineered solutions across nationwide sites.

Qualifications

• Incorporated member of a relevant professional institution (e.g. IEng MICE) or have significant experience in a similar role.
• Holding a full driving licence.
• Collaborative and able to build effective relationships across teams, clients and stakeholders.
• Trusted and committed to delivering what you promise while acting safely and ethically.
• Focused with a clear, disciplined and thorough approach to your work.

Responsibilities

• Advising on the effective implementation of the Group Temporary Works Standard and associated guidance.
• Providing technical and practical advice on temporary works design and implementation.
• Undertaking formal and informal temporary works compliance audits of projects and frameworks.
• Supporting tender and bid winning activities including outline design schemes, feasibility studies, and value engineering.
• Providing design management advice and coordination, acting as lead designer where required.
