Job summary

Flux Consulting Inc. in Warrington is seeking a Senior Temporary Works Engineer to lead structural and temporary works design on diverse projects, with hybrid working.

The role requires a minimum of five years in structural/temporary works, a Civil or Structural Engineering degree, and progress toward ICE/IStructE chartership; you will communicate with clients, prepare drawings, and contribute to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Working towards or chartered with ICE or IStructE preferred.
• Proven experience in structural design and temporary works.
• Strong knowledge of design codes and standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lead projects and liaise with clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver temporary works designs in accordance with BS 5975 and the Eurocodes.
• Lead projects, presenting to and working with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
• Produce detailed calculations, drawings and reports to support design solutions.
• Provide technical support during construction, including site visits and inspections.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and quality standards.
• Help define a new industry standard of quality.
