Kier Group plc is seeking a Senior Temporary Works Advisor to join our team across nationwide locations. You’ll provide expert guidance on temporary works standards, oversee compliance, and support tender activities through design schemes and value engineering.

The role demands professional membership (IEng/MICE or equivalent), a valid driving licence, and a collaborative, safety‑led approach to delivering complex infrastructure projects in the UK.

Qualifications

• Incorporated member of a relevant professional institution (e.g. IEng MICE) or equivalent experience.
• Must hold a full driving licence.
• Collaborative and able to build effective relationships across teams, clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Advise on the effective implementation of the Group Temporary Works Standard and associated guidance.
• Provide technical and practical advice on temporary works design and implementation.
• Undertake formal and informal temporary works compliance audits of projects and frameworks.
• Support tender and bid activities including outline design schemes, feasibility studies, and value engineering.
• Provide design management advice and coordination, acting as lead designer where required.
