Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Senior Temporary Works Design Engineer to lead technical design packages for demolition, heavy propping, façade retention and deep excavations across London and the South East.

You will act as the technical lead, perform Cat 2/3 checks, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with TWCs, project managers and site teams to ensure buildability and compliance with BS 5975, CDM and Eurocodes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Chartered/Incorporated status preferred.
• Proven experience in temporary works design and checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead concept-to-detail temporary works designs and checks.
• Cover demolition stability, façade retention, heavy propping and deep excavations.
• Ensure compliance with BS 5975, CDM regulations and Eurocodes.
• Collaborate with TWCs, managers and site teams for buildability.
• Mentor junior engineers and perform site design audits.
