Job summary
SP Energy Networks is seeking a Senior Field Engineer (Telecoms) in Birkenhead to oversee planning, delivery and cost management of telecom projects. You will liaise with telecom providers, manage adds/moves/changes, and ensure on-time delivery to the required service dates.
The role requires a degree in Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering with strong IP networking and project-management experience, plus HSSEQ knowledge. Hybrid work model with field/site and remote days offered.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Telecommunications Engineering.
- Proven experience in Project Management within telecoms.
- Experience with operational telecommunications networks and SP Energy Networks HSSEQ standards.
Responsibilities
- Delivery management of Telecom projects and activities to time and budget.
- Review CHG requests and ensure documentation aligns with scope.
- Coordinate field resources, suppliers and internal teams for safe project delivery.
- Forecast and report budgets, track CAPEX/OPEX by project and activity.
