Job summary

ScottishPower is seeking a Senior Field Engineer (Telecoms) for SP Energy Networks in the UK. The role delivers planning, delivery and cost control for Operational Telecom infrastructure, coordinating with internal teams and telecom service providers to meet service dates.

You'll manage telecom projects for adds, moves and changes, ensure safety standards, and maintain accurate records while supporting budgets and CAPEX/OPEX reporting. Hybrid working pattern applies.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in Electrical, Electronic or Telecommunications Engineering.
• Experience in Project Management with strong technical background in IP networking.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Visio and Microsoft Project.
• Experience with operational Telecommunications networks and HSSEQ standards.

Responsibilities

• Delivery Management: oversee safe delivery of telecom projects and review site safety arrangements.
• Review CHG requests, validate network records and end-of-job documentation.
• Project Management: coordinate with customers and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery and budget.
• Forecasting and reporting: budgets, CAPEX and OPEX expenditure.
