Job summary

Home Office Digital is seeking a Senior Technology Delivery Manager within the Chief Technology Office. You will coordinate delivery across multiple initiatives, turning priorities into executable plans and managing dependencies to ensure on-time outcomes.

You will work with delivery teams, architects and senior stakeholders to enable governance, drive clarity, and land outcomes in a fast-moving environment, with some office time required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading delivery programs using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
• Facilitating teams in delivering technology products and services across lifecycles.
• Building motivated, high-performing delivery teams and resolving team dynamics issues.
• Identifying, prioritising and managing risks, issues and dependencies.
• Engaging, communicating and mediating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Monitoring supplier performance and acting as a point of contact with vendors.
• Proven ability to support governance models, forums and assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Work across delivery, architecture and engineering to coordinate delivery activity, manage dependencies and enable decision-making.
• Lead delivery of technology products and services, guiding teams through complex, ambiguous situations with appropriate methodologies.
• Co-ordinate Architecture Communities of Practice and maintain delivery momentum across portfolios.
• Create and maintain realistic plans, keep delivery on track, and remove blockers through governance engagement.
• Develop teams, provide direction and feedback, monitor health and address issues.
• Identify risks early, ensure mitigation, involve specialists where needed.
• Translate architectural risks into actionable delivery plans and governance inputs.
• Engage with stakeholders to collect feedback and strengthen relationships.
• Manage suppliers and resolve issues affecting delivery performance.
