Job summary

UK Home Office is seeking a Senior Technology Delivery Manager within the Chief Technology Office to coordinate delivery across multiple initiatives. You will structure plans, manage dependencies, and keep outcomes on track in a fast-moving environment.

You will work with delivery teams, architects, engineers and senior stakeholders to turn priorities into executable plans, surface risks early, and ensure governance and assurance processes are followed.

Qualifications

• Experience leading delivery across multiple initiatives and programmes.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and dependencies.
• Ability to identify, escalate and mitigate risks.
• Experience coordinating with suppliers and external partners.
• Ability to support governance models and assurance processes.
• Proven track record of building motivated, high-performing teams.

• Coordinate cross-team delivery activities, dependencies and decisions.
• Lead delivery of technology products and services across lifecycle.
• Facilitate structured problem-solving and process improvement.
• Support Architecture Communities of Practice and governance.
• Create realistic plans and remove blockers to delivery.
• Develop teams and provide direction and feedback.
• Identify and mitigate risks with necessary specialists.
• Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders to manage expectations.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues.
