Job summary

Farnborough College of Technology is seeking a Senior Technician to join our highly regarded catering department. You will assist lecturing staff and students during practical lessons and ensure the kitchen is kept tidy, hygienic and compliant with food safety standards.

The role involves handling customer bookings, stock ordering, cash handling and budget control, supervising students behind a bar, and performing administrative duties.

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Technician to work in our very successful catering department at the College.

The role will involve assisting the lecturing staff and students during practical lessons. Ensuring the kitchen is left tidy and hygienic.

Dealing with customer bookings, stock ordering, cash handling, budget control, supervising students behind a bar and administrative duties.

Ideally the successful applicant will have previous experience in a similar role and be highly motivated with the ability to engage with young people. Good communication skills are essential.
