Job summary

Farnborough College of Technology is recruiting a Senior Technician to support our catering department. The role involves assisting lecturing staff and students during practical lessons, ensuring the kitchen is tidy and hygienic, and helping run practical sessions.

You will manage bookings, stock orders, cash handling, budget control and supervise students behind a bar, with strong organisational and communication skills essential.

Job description

Competitive Salary and Excellent Benefits. Full Time (40 weeks per year) We are currently recruiting for a Senior Technician to work in our very successful catering department at the College. The role will involve assisting the lecturing staff and students during practical lessons. Ensuring the kitchen is left tidy and hygienic.Dealing with customer bookings, stock ordering, cash handling, budget control, supervising students behind a bar and administrative duties. Ideally the successful applicant will have previous experience in a similar role and be highly motivated with the ability to engage with young people. Good communication skills are essential.
