The University of Edinburgh seeks a skilled Senior Technician to join the uCreate team for a 12-month fixed-term role. We are looking for a skilled Senior Technician to join our award winning uCreate team for a 12 month fixed-term period. If you have a passion for technology and enjoy sharing your knowledge, skills and enthusiasm with others then we would love to hear from you. The successful candidate will be sharing the service’s technical lead in digital manufacture and 3D digitisation and should have some knowledge and practical experience in these areas.
Working hours are 21 hours per week between Monday and Friday during standard working hours, there will be the opportunity to discuss the exact configuration of these hours during the interview process. On occasion there may be a requirement to adjust working times on an ad-hoc basis, as agreed with post-holder. As this is a user-facing role, there is limited flexibility around working hours and working from home. Please refer to the University’s Hybrid Workplace Policy for more information.
The salary for this post is at Grade UE06: £34,132 to £39,355 per annum pro-rata as part-time (21 hours per week).
