Job summary

The Bonded Warehousekeepers Ltd is seeking a Senior Duty Technical Support Analyst & Consultant to join their Duty Management team. You will interact with customers to resolve technical issues and conduct root cause analysis.

The successful candidate should possess strong knowledge in Progress and Shell scripting, be experienced in the Warehousing and e-commerce sectors, and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

This is a remote position offering full-time consultancy work with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have strong problem-solving skills and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience in Warehousing, e-commerce and/or Customs and Excise is essential.
• Knowledge of Progress and Shell scripting is required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to understand and respond to functional and technical issues.
• Carry out root cause analysis for technical and functional issues.
• Diagnose software issues using the application toolkit.

Skills

Strong problem-solving skills

Strong root cause analysis skills

Strong functional and operational background in Warehousing, e-commerce and/or Customs and Excise

Strong knowledge of Progress and Shell scripting

Experience of at least one full project implementation cycle

Strong analytical skills

Configuration skills including task scheduling and monitoring

Technical knowledge of related technologies, e.g. Progress OpenEdge

AWS (or other) Cloud experience

Previous experience in a support setting, ideally on a WMS or DMS
