Job summary

COREcruitment Ltd is partnering with a leading UK event venue to recruit an experienced Technical Manager for the Stadium Operations team. This senior role oversees all technical maintenance, safety, and compliance across the campus, working with in-house engineers and external providers to deliver best-in-class standards.

The successful candidate will lead a multidisciplinary team, manage audits and risk, and drive improvements in asset management, installations, and SOPs for a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Building Services qualification required (City & Guilds / HNC or equivalent).
• Senior technical experience in a complex, high-risk venue.
• Experience as AE and Responsible Person.
• Strong understanding of statutory and legislative compliance for large venues.
• Experience managing maintenance contracts and specialist engineering teams.
• Experience in event management for stadium/arena environments.
• IOSH or similar health and safety qualification.

Responsibilities

• Own all technical assets and critical systems, including audits and records.
• Oversee maintenance, compliance, and testing across the campus.
• Lead emergency testing and ensure Safety Certificate compliance.
• Coordinate inspections with safety teams and authorities.
• Maintain venue to the highest technical and operational standards.
• Provide technical guidance and deputise for Head of Facilities.
• Develop and deliver a technical audit program and manage audits.
• Oversee upgrades, projects, and cost-effective technical changes.
• Line manage a specialist team of electricians and IST technicians.
