Job summary

The Pearson Whiffin Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex technology projects. You will bridge business needs and technical delivery, owning projects from planning through implementation and review, ensuring on-time, within-scope, within-budget delivery and high standards of quality, governance and compliance.

You will develop detailed project plans, manage risks, issues, budgets and change, and report to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Proven experience of delivering complex projects and managing multiple initiatives concurrently, including working with third‑party vendors and cross‑functional technology teams.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and processes, including RAID management, with experience in Agile, PRINCE2, DSDM, Jira and Confluence.
APM or PRINCE2 training is desirable.
Self-driven, organised and solutions-focused, with excellent communication, attention to detail and tenacity.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed project plans, manage risks, issues, budgets and change, and provide clear reporting to stakeholders.
Act as the key point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, coordinating cross‑functional teams and third‑party suppliers, removing blockers, and ensuring deliverables meet business outcomes.
Drive continuous improvement and coach colleagues in effective project practices to build high‑performing teams.
