Vermelo is seeking a Technical Pricing Analyst to join our ambitious general insurance team. You will help deliver the technical pricing strategy and ensure pricing models are accurate and refreshed regularly to improve predictiveness.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop pricing recommendations, and help manage product performance while growing a team of analysts and continually improving pricing capability.

Qualifications

• Experience in general insurance pricing.
• Proficiency with predictive modelling techniques (logistic regression, GBMs, GLMs, GAMs, decision trees, random forests, neural nets, clustering).
• Experience with statistical/data science languages (R, Python, PySpark, SAS, SQL).
• Experience with Radar software is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead components of pricing projects and support risk model builds and refreshes across product lines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data used for modelling is consistent and suitable.
• Contribute to delivering commercial objectives by maintaining pricing models for profitable growth.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders as pricing SME.
• Support key pricing projects and work with Portfolio Management and Underwriting on risk appetite and product development.
• Communicate results clearly to stakeholders and build trusted relationships.
