Job summary

Staffline in Wrexham is seeking a Technical Manager to lead the site's technical, QA and validation functions, ensuring compliance with HACCP, BRCGS, retailer standards and food legislation while driving continuous improvement in safety, quality and operational performance.

You will mentor technical and QA teams, manage audits and investigations, and coordinate with Production, NPD and Process teams in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related discipline.
• Proven leadership in Technical, Quality or Food Safety roles in food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, BRCGS, retailer standards and food legislation.
• Experience leading audits and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site's Technical and QA function, managing QA Managers and Validation personnel.
• Own the Food Safety Management System and HACCP programme.
• Lead audit preparation and execution with retailers, customers and third parties.
• Investigate food safety incidents and customer complaints; implement corrective actions.
