Zest is seeking a Technical Manager to own the site's technical function in the North West England region. You will be the most senior technical on site and play a key role in the Senior Leadership Team, shaping strategy, standards and culture.

The role requires deep HACCP knowledge, extensive food industry experience, and proven leadership of Technical, Quality and Hygiene teams to ensure food safety and customer compliance.

Qualificações

• Senior technical leadership experience in food manufacturing.
• 10+ years in the food industry.
• Experience leading customer audits.
• Strong HACCP and BRC knowledge.
• Experience leading and developing teams.
• Food Safety and HACCP qualifications.
• Degree in Food Science or relevant field.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the site’s technical function as the most senior technical person on site.
• Sit on the site Senior Leadership Team and shape technical strategy.
• Lead Technical, Quality and Hygiene teams.
• Oversee food safety, quality and compliance.
• Develop and drive the site technical strategy.
• Maintain food safety standards per BRC and customer requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement across the site.
• Lead customer visits and on-site audits.
• Coach and develop the technical team to reach full potential.
• Build strong relationships with customers.
