Job summary

Aurora Energy Services is seeking a commercially driven Technical Sales & Appointed Person to bridge growth and safety. In a hybrid role, you will secure contract lifting projects while serving as the sole technical authority for lift planning, risk assessments, and site execution.

You will advise clients from first contact through site survey to safe lift completion, with responsibilities spanning business development, estimation, and contract management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in lifting/rigging or related sales roles.
• Experience as Appointed Person on complex projects is essential.
• Strong knowledge of LOLER 1998, PUWER 1998 and BS 7121.
• Ability to draft lift plans, RAMS and crane positioning drawings.
• Valid CPCS A61 Appointed Person certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business by securing contract lifting projects.
• Act as technical authority for planning, risk assessment and lift execution.
• Conduct site surveys and client consultations to propose best lifting solutions.
• Prepare accurate estimates including crane hire, transport, rigging and labour.
• Brief and lead lifting teams to ensure safety and compliance.
