Job summary

Planet Recruitment seeks a Professional Services Technical Lead in Newbury. You will set technical direction, own design and delivery of complex client solutions, and act as the technical authority for Professional Services and Field Engineering.

You will lead technical discovery, translate requirements into designs, and ensure security, scalability and supportability across projects, both remotely and on-site.

Qualifications

• Substantial hands-on experience designing and delivering complex IT infrastructure, cloud or managed-service solutions in a client-facing environment.
• Broad technical expertise across Microsoft 365, Azure, IAM, endpoint management, virtualization, networking, backup and cybersecurity.
• Strong solution architecture, requirements gathering and technical documentation skills.
• Proven experience leading migrations, deployments and transformations from discovery to handover.
• Advanced troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and technical risk management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical direction and design for delivery lifecycles.
• Oversee discovery, scoping, design, implementation, testing and handover of client solutions.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and plans, including SOWs and BOMs.
• Establish and maintain technical standards, reference architectures and security controls.
• Deliver hands-on implementation across infrastructure, cloud, networking and security.
