Job summary

Dyson is seeking a highly skilled Technical Designer for Dyson’s Global Retail Design & Experience team, based at the Malmesbury office. The role bridges design, engineering and manufacturing to translate ambitious retail concepts into technically robust, scalable solutions.

You will produce detailed technical drawings, specifications and supplier briefs, review outputs for design intent, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain and external partners to ensure a high-quality global

Qualifications

• Experience in technical design for retail environments.
• Proven ability to take concepts to manufactured solutions.
• Experience collaborating with suppliers and production teams.
• Proficient with SolidWorks for 3D CAD and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and clear technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts into fully resolved technical designs ready for manufacture.
• Produce high-quality drawings, specifications and supplier briefs.
• Review supplier outputs to ensure design intent and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain and partners for global rollout.
• Balance creative ambition with feasibility and manufacturing constraints.
