Job summary

Computacenter is hiring for an Azure Architect to lead customer engagements and shape cloud strategy across Azure, DevOps, Automation and Kubernetes. You will work with industry-leading specialists to design scalable, secure Azure platforms and provide governance across the project lifecycle.

Join our Global Professional Services organisation to influence pre-sales, deliver complex cloud solutions, and mentor teams while driving Azure adoption across large UK organisations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and delivering Microsoft Azure solutions.
• Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, and/or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
• Strong experience supporting pre-sales engagements and shaping customer requirements.
• Expertise across Azure infrastructure, networking, security, governance, automation, and cloud migration.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools including Terraform, Bicep, Ansible, PowerShell, and Python.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and platform automation.
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container-based platforms.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical teams, business stakeholders, and customer leadership.
• Experience delivering cloud solutions within agile environments.

• Mentor consultants and engineers while contributing to the growth of the Azure Practice

You’ll be joining Computacenter’s Global Professional Services organisation, a community of over 5,000 consultants, architects, engineers, and project professionals delivering complex technology solutions across the world.

As part of our Azure Practice, you’ll work alongside industry-leading cloud specialists, architects, delivery teams, and strategic technology partners. You'll help shape cloud strategy, contribute to innovative service offerings, and work with leading technologies across Azure, DevOps, Automation, and Kubernetes.

What you'll do

What you\'ll need

  • Enterprise Scale Landing Zones (ALZ)
  • Well-Architected Framework
  • FinOps and Cost Optimisation
  • Operational Resilience
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools including Terraform, Bicep, Ansible, PowerShell, and Python
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and platform automation
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container-based platforms
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical teams, business stakeholders, and customer leadership
• Experience delivering cloud solutions within agile environments
• Experience with technologies such as Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Local, Azure Sovereign Cloud, ServiceNow, Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk, Zscaler, Palo Alto, or cloud cost optimisation tools would be advantageous.
