Job summary

Baringa is seeking an experienced Consultant/Senior Consultant for its Technical Advisory practice in the UK. You will join a team delivering integrated technical and commercial advisory across infrastructure investors, lenders and public sector clients, focusing on decarbonisation, industrial energy efficiency and district heating.

You will work with engineers, technologists and business teams to develop robust analyses, prepare high-quality reports, risk registers and presentations, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years’ practical engineering experience in chemical, process, mechanical, thermal or energy disciplines.
• Master’s degree in engineering is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on complex energy-infrastructure, decarbonisation and industrial process decisions with clear commercial recommendations.
• Assess industrial processes and energy systems for carbon reduction.
• Evaluate energy technologies from gas-fired to heat pumps and decarbonisation solutions.
• Gather, analyse and model data to develop practical decarbonisation pathways.
• Translate technical findings into actionable implementation plans and client presentations.
• Support due diligence for energy and infrastructure transactions and liaise with engineering partners.
