Job summary

Baringa is recruiting for a Manager to lead technical workstreams in buy-side, sell-side and lender due diligence across gas-fired generation, CHP, heat and energy assets. You will oversee feasibility studies, techno-economic analyses and contract reviews, and present findings to investment committees.

The role sits within Baringa's Technical Advisory unit, collaborating with market and transaction teams. You will guide junior colleagues, build trusted relationships with investors and energy

Qualifications

• Lead technical due diligence and advisory assignments in M&A, project finance and infrastructure investments.
• Assess technical feasibility, risks, costs and opportunities for operating assets and development projects.
• Review EPC/O&M contracts, asset management strategies and key project docs.
• Evaluate CAPEX/OPEX, lifecycle costs and performance assumptions.
• Assess technology maturity and provider capabilities for investment decisions.
• Communicate findings clearly to investment committees and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical workstreams for buy-side, sell-side and lender due diligence.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs and coach junior colleagues.
• Translate engineering findings into clear investment implications.
• Develop relationships with infrastructure funds, lenders and energy companies.
• Support development of Technical Advisory capabilities and methodologies.
