Wise Finance team is undergoing a critical transformation. We are hiring a Senior Technical Accounting Manager on a fixed-term basis to help shape accounting for new products and services under US GAAP and IFRS for reporting needs.

You will own accounting under US GAAP and IFRS, document accounting position papers, and explain complex topics to non-finance stakeholders and external auditors. Collaborate cross-functionally to embed accounting into the business and update policies as Wise grows.

Qualificações

• Theory – strong knowledge in respect of accounting under US GAAP and IFRS. Professional finance qualification such as the ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
• Practice – tackle technical accounting and manage accounting implementation projects.
• Ownership – take ownership over complex new areas with minimal guidance.
• Adaptable - re-prioritise tasks to meet changing business needs.

Responsabilidades

• Ownership of accounting under US GAAP and IFRS, documenting accounting position papers and supporting product implementations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to embed accounting into the business and update policies for new treasury products.
