Job summary

Wise in London is seeking a Senior Technical Accounting Manager on a fixed-term contract to own US GAAP and IFRS accounting for new products and services. You will document accounting positions, support product implementations, and explain complex accounting to non-finance stakeholders and external auditors.

You will collaborate across Finance and Wise to embed accounting into business processes, updating policies as needed in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with accounting implementation projects.
• Ability to explain accounting to non-finance stakeholders and auditors.
• Experience in a FinTech or fast-growing scale-up.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting under US GAAP and IFRS for treasury products.
