A leading recruitment agency is looking for a Senior Technical Accounting Manager to join a notable Green Energy group in central London. The ideal candidate should have Big Four auditing experience and a background in accounting advisory for US-listed businesses in the Energy sector. This role involves leading the consolidation process, overseeing audits, preparing management reports, and mentoring junior staff while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Big 4/Top 10 audit experience is essential.
• Experience in Accounting Advisory for US-listed FPIs or Energy/Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong technical accounting expertise, including IFRS reporting.
• Deep understanding of accounting standards and financial compliance.
• Highly organised with strong prioritisation and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the group consolidation process, including review and approval of accounting entries.
• Oversee the audit process, ensuring timely delivery of audit materials.
• Prepare quarterly management reports with commentary for senior leadership.
• Research complex technical accounting matters and prepare memos for transactions.
• Mentor junior members of the finance team.
