Page Personnel is recruiting a Senior Financial Reporting Manager (Technical Accounting) to lead complex IFRS accounting matters and statutory reporting for a large, regulated environment in London. You will own year-end and interim audits, prepare influential accounting papers, and partner with senior stakeholders to shape reporting policy and controls.

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CA or equivalent
• Strong IFRS knowledge and technical accounting expertise
• Experience preparing statutory accounts
• Experience managing external audits
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical accounting assessment of new initiatives, projects, and changes across the organisation.
• Research, interpret and apply IFRS standards to complex accounting matters, producing clear recommendations and accounting papers.
• Own the preparation of statutory financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and reporting requirements.
• Take a leading role in year-end and interim audits, acting as a key contact for external auditors and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare high-quality papers and presentations for senior leadership, committees, and governance forums covering significant judgements, estimates, and accounting policy changes.
• Support the development and enhancement of financial reporting processes, controls, and disclosures.
• Partner with stakeholders across finance and the wider business to translate complex regulatory and contractual arrangements into appropriate accounting treatments.
• Review and challenge financial models, valuations, and accounting assumptions where required.
• Act as the organisation's technical accounting expert, providing guidance on emerging accounting developments and changes to reporting standards.
• Drive continuous improvement across financial reporting, governance, and audit readiness activities.
